What should I do if my address doesn’t register? In our unique valley, Google Maps doesn’t always register addresses correctly. Here are several alternatives to find address recognition.
1. If there’s a cross street near your home/destination, type the cross streets in the address space provided. For example,
Hopkins Ave and Galena Street, Aspen, CO.
2. We have listed several missing locations (such as Park & Rides, neighborhoods and ski mountains) as points of interest we are listing locations missed by the mapping system. If there’s a point of interest that has been missed, please contact us and we will add it for you.
3. If you have the x and y coordinates of your location, you can use them in the address space provided.
4. Email us or call 970.429.2868 for assistance.
What should I do if my employer isn’t listed? Select no employer for now. Contact us with your employer’s name and physical address and we will add them to the list. Please include all satellite facilities with physical addresses. If your employer is interested in creating its own transit home page have them contact us.
Why isn't my Commute Calendar working? The commuter calendar will not work without the Silverlight program. The Commuter Connect website will prompt you to upload a free Silverlight program. Some of you don’t have the proper authorization to upload programs at work. If you’re unable to upload Silverlight, the Simple Calendar still works for logging your commutes, but won't track your CO2 emissions, calories burned or money saved.
I want to create a Commuter Connect account to receive the transit emails and to access the site information, but I do not want to create a commute. How do I get pass the commute questions while creating an account? Once you’ve completed the first section “Create Account” and you have clicked to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy button. At this point you have officially created an account. To confirm this, you’ll see your email address displayed in the top gray menu bar. To get out of this window, just kick on any other page and this will get you out of this sign up section. If you ever wish to edit or add anything to your profile you may do this by clicking on My Account.
I received an email from a possible carpool match. I would like to respond to their email, but it’s a “no reply” email. How do I respond? Go to your “Message Center” located on the top gray menu bar. Message Center allows you to look up your email activity and allows you to respond to any emails anonymously through the website.
